I have always been interested in art. I have 2 degrees in art, one from Santa Rosa Junior College, and one from San Jose State University. I also taught painting for one semester in Nebraska. When I taught 2nd grade in Los Angeles I wanted my students to also see art as something anyone could do and like. When I paint I emphasize the characteristics of the scene that I feel gives it meaning. Sometimes I feel that a painting should be  alive and cheerful, and sometimes I feel just color and form is enough. I love colors because they make every thing alive and I try to use them to describe what I am feeling. Iwant my paintings to be fun and original and show another way of looking at things.
